Freelance English Teacher

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere (and Online). We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes.

We are currently looking for a freelance English Teacher for one of our clients in Newport Beach, United States.

• Session length: Two-hours
• Location: 92657, Newport Coast
• Student Level: Elementary. Her English is currently at a basic level.
• Student Age Group: E: 45-55
• Student's Schedule: 3 times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday the time is flexible.
• Student's Preferred Start Date: Asap.
• Student's Motivation: My main priority at the beginning is correct pronunciation and developing a clear, standard American English accent, with particular attention to listening and speaking. After that, I would like to gradually work on grammar, reading, writing, and conversation. My learning goal is not simply to learn conversational English. I would like to develop a strong foundation in standard American pronunciation and communication, and gradually progress toward professional and business English.

Ideal Candidate:

• Be a native English speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa
• Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions:

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
• Freelance position, with part-time hours
• We are not able to sponsor visas
