Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Critical Care, ICU, General Respiratory modalities, Trauma, Rapid Response Team, Stroke Team Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years, must have pediatric experience License: State licensure in Respiratory Therapy Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Critical Care experience, ICU or ED Description: This position involves providing respiratory care services in a critical care environment. The role includes managing patients from newborns to geriatrics. The work environment is fast-paced and requires proficiency in various respiratory modalities and equipment. Common equipment used includes PB980, Vapotherm, Parapac, Resperonics BiPAP V60, Fischer Paykel Bubble CPAP, and Opti-Flow. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is crucial. Rotating weekend shifts are required. No call requirements are involved in this position. Candidates should be prepared to provide occasional general pediatric care. A two-year associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy is required. Experience in critical care and emergency department settings is preferred.
