This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Main OR Operating Room Surgical Tech position available
Schedule

12-hour shifts
Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedules
Can also accommodate 48 hours per week

Job Duties

The OR cares for a wide variety of patients
Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center)
There are 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services
The transplant program involves livers, kidneys, and hearts

Job Requirements

NBSTSA Certification or 10 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
Minimum Two (2) years of Experience
Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
Able to scrub

Certification(s)

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)

Skills

NBSTSA Tech License (NY License ONLY) or 10 years of experience - Required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
Two (2) Years Experience - minimum - Required
Operating room experience in a level 1 trauma - Highly desired
Able to scrub - Required
